Our last day in Charleston

Well, it has been a while since the Charleston posts and I think I put the last one off on purpose.  Just like we all didn’t want it to end I didn’t want to end my blogging about it.  IMG_4877

But now it has been so long I can feel like I am going back.  So, after we winked our hotel goodbye we headed out for some breakfast at Toast.2015-05-04 09.08.22Al and I are peering over, not a ham, but  hand-cut currant bread stuffed with cinnamon apples topped with apple cider syrup and one stuffed with peaches in peach syrup.  Um, you go to Charleston for the food, folks.

We headed out of town to Magnolia Plantation. Before venturing into the gardens we watched an informative video on the Garden’s history.  Very informative, and here we are watching it.  Well, Amy is watching it.IMG_4886

Some turtles sunning.  Hello South Carolinian turtles.DSCN6508

And then we set up the stop-motion of our lifetime.  I am going to post this before I get it done though, because it is taking me a while to edit.  It will be worth the wait.2015-05-04 12.59.21

After this we left South Carolina and headed northerly to North Carolina.  We dropped Hannah off at the airport and said goodbye until the next Lady's Trip.

So here was our master plan:charleston schedule

And here is a stone paver with the name of the place we went:DSCN6388

Where shall we go next?
